Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Innkeep Chrome extension and the innkeep-662e6.web.app website (together, the "Service"). By installing or using Innkeep, you agree to these Terms.

What Innkeep is

Innkeep is a Chrome extension that helps Airbnb hosts read guest conversations and draft replies, using AI provided by Anthropic or OpenAI. The extension is free to install. Two plans are available:

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Innkeep. By using the Service you confirm that you are.

Your account

Innkeep requires you to sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of that account. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it if it changes.

Free plan: your AI provider account

On the free plan, Innkeep calls Anthropic or OpenAI on your behalf using your own API key. Your relationship with that provider, including payment for API usage, is governed by their terms:

You are responsible for any charges from your AI provider. Innkeep does not collect or remit those charges.

Premium plan: subscription, billing, cancellation

Premium is a recurring monthly subscription. By upgrading you authorize Innkeep, through Stripe, to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Trial

New Premium subscribers get a 7-day free trial. You won't be charged during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won't be charged at all. If you don't cancel, your card is charged at the end of the trial and the regular monthly cycle begins.

Billing cycle

After the trial, Premium renews monthly on the same day each month at the listed price ($18/month at launch). You can see your next billing date in Settings , Account , Manage subscription.

Cancellation

You can cancel any time from Settings , Account , Manage subscription. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep Premium access until the end of the current billing period. We do not pro-rate or refund partial months.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries automatically per its standard schedule. During the retry window your account is marked "past due" and Premium features remain active. If all retries fail, your account is downgraded to Free until you update payment.

Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable for partial periods or unused time. If you believe you've been charged in error, contact us at marcus@staylovejoy.com within 30 days and we'll review case by case.

Price changes

We may change the Premium price with at least 30 days notice via email. If you don't want to continue at the new price, cancel before the change takes effect.

Fair-use

Premium covers AI usage at typical hosting volumes. We reserve the right to throttle or contact users who use Innkeep in a way that's clearly automated, abusive, or far outside individual-host patterns. We don't expect this to ever apply to legitimate hosts.

AI-generated content

Innkeep uses AI to generate suggested analysis and reply drafts. These suggestions are provided as a starting point only. You are solely responsible for reviewing and editing any AI-generated content before sending it to a guest. Innkeep makes no guarantee that AI suggestions are accurate, appropriate, or compliant with Airbnb's policies.

Relationship with Airbnb

Innkeep is an independent third-party tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Airbnb. "Airbnb" is a trademark of Airbnb, Inc. Use of Innkeep does not change your obligations to Airbnb under their Terms of Service.

Intellectual property

The Innkeep extension, website, and all associated content (including the name, logo, and design) are owned by us. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the extension for its intended purpose.

Content you create using the Service (including reply drafts and saved voice samples) remains yours.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI suggestions will be accurate or fit for any particular purpose.

The Service relies on Airbnb's web interface. If Airbnb changes their interface in ways that affect the extension's functionality, we will work to restore it but cannot guarantee continuous operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Innkeep and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability in any matter is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in the past twelve months or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100).

We are not responsible for actions you take based on AI-generated suggestions, for decisions made by Airbnb, for charges from your AI provider, or for the conduct of guests you communicate with.

Termination

You may stop using Innkeep at any time by signing out and uninstalling the extension. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to other users, third parties, or the Service itself.

Changes to the Service

We may modify, add, or remove features at any time. We may also introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, the free tier as described in these Terms at the time of your installation will continue to be available, or we will give you reasonable notice.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the Service changes or when legal requirements change. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles.
